The Harm Reduction Therapy
Center is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to providing alternative, non-judgmental
treatment to
people with drug and alcohol problems. It is founded on the principle
that
substance abuse develops in each individual from a unique interaction
of
biological, psychological, and social factors. Drug and alcohol issues
are
addressed simultaneously with social and occupational concerns and
psychological
and emotional issues.Sex Offending
Sharper
Future is a
private-sector mental health
service provider specializing in the assessment and treatment of
forensic populations,
including sex offenders and mentally ill offenders. Clinics are located
throughout
California. Sharper Future works to increase community safety by
helping offenders
avoid future crimes (Relapse Prevention) and become productive members
of their
communities (Social Habilitation).
Gaylesta is the oldest and largest
non-profit
organization of licensed psychotherapists in the San Francisco Bay Area
who
specialize in working with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender
clients. They

The
Delancey Street Foundation is a model program for the
rehabilitation of
hard-core felons. It has graduated over 14,000 people from America's
underclass
into society as taxpaying citizens leading decent and productive
lives. After an average of four years (a minimum stay of two years),
residents
gain an academic education, three marketable skills, accountability and
responsibility, dignity, and integrity.
